Alternative Brews was founded in June of 1995 by Paul Madsen. We offer the largest selection of beers of any pub in the Buffalo area featuring 150 different beers, cigars, and live Blues Music!
Live Blues on Wednesdays at 8:00, Fridays at 6:00 and Saturdays at 9:00 year round.
"Smokers are welcome, we are a NY State licensed Cigar Bar".
Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 4:00 - 7:00 with 2 for 1 drafts (19 to choose from!) and well drinks.
We have a Beer Club every year starting in April.
Free Beer Tastings on the last Thursday of each month. (Check our Calendar)
3 Hour Party Packages - $19.00/person including pizza and wings, open bar on all drafts, well drinks, wine and soda.
Have the whole bar to yourself with your group of 25 or more. Available on Saturday afternoons or Sundays.
Monthly Cigar Parties - $25 per ticket, includes 5 handmade cigars, buffet dinner provided by a different local restaurant each month. Beer tasting and raffle with great prizes. Featured on the last Monday of every month from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
